Applications
FuelSpec® can be used in all hydrocarbon fuels from ASTM No. 1 naphtha (gasoline feedstock) to No. 6 residual oil and in any type of equipment from Diesel engines to natural gas generators.
G.O.A.’s main applications are for LNG vessels as well as land based natural gas pipelines and compressor stations. We feel strongly that these two areas are where we can best serve our customers and are markets that are often overlooked when it comes to innovative ways to reduce maintenance costs and fuel use.
For other marine vessels using low sulfur fuel our 117 Series in Diesel engines will help offset the cost of the fuel and the effects of hydrodesulfurization providing a reduction in maintenance expenses.
Vessels using an exhaust gas scrubber with IFO or HFO, FuelSpec® will offer an economic benefit through fuel savings and therefore an overall cost saving to the operator.
